The ISIC’s Director is Professor Roger Bohn of the School of International Relations and Pacific Studies (IRPS), UCSD. Dr. Bohn’s research areas include industrial innovation, advanced storage technologies and management, and productivity. His work has been widely published in academic and industry publications. Prof. Bohn did his undergraduate work at Harvard University, and received his doctorate from MIT’s Sloan School of Management. Before coming to UCSD he taught for 7 years at the Harvard Business School. He has also taught at MIT, Oxford, and Melbourne Business School. He is a member of the IEEE, the Institute for Operations Research and Management Sciences (INFORMS), and the American Economic Association. |

The ISIC's Research Director is Dr. James Short, UCSD. His research areas include information value and IT strategy, business process and business network redesign, and IT forecasting, market transparency and disclosure in technology businesses. His work has been widely published in academic and industry publications. Jim completed his undergraduate and advanced degrees at MIT. Previously Jim was Visiting Associate Professor at the MIT Sloan School of Management. He has held posts at the London Business School (LBS) and the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, were he was a Fellow in the Belfer School of Science and Technology during academic year 1999-2000. Jim has also taught in the management information systems (MIS) programs at Boston University and the Theseus Institute, Sophia Antipolis, France. He is active in academic and industry professional associations. |
